(Note: This is written <mostly> in gest, but as someone who cut his teeth in anthropology, I can’t help but observe and listen. The gist of this is tongue in cheek <which is a strange phrase because isn’t that a gesture that sort of means a blowjob> but regardless of that - I think there is likely some truth to this - but please, don’t take it too serious. This is not an academic paper but merely a spoof type of article that was born from overhearing the complaints of two fellow hotel guests in the breakfast lounge a few days ago. Images were all created by AI with prompt 10 most desirable people of 2024 and location of party, club, and no location. )
Changing Values
It’s interesting to note the value of things over time. For example, a single white American male doesn’t have near the value that it used to have. The value of a white European male has gone up quite a bit and the value of being a black male from anywhere except Africa has had a steep rise in value due to hip hop culture, sport culture, and entertainment culture in general.
Skinny white women’s asses and botox’d lips on white women of all ages have had a fairly severe drop in value while big booties with narrow waists above them have skyrocketed in value regardless of skin tone.
Nothing has risen in value as much as Asian women. There is currently nothing more desirable in the human types than the Asian woman, though the African American woman has had a very noticeable rise in value over the past several years in part due to large natural lips, large plump booties, and a perceived ability to move well. It’s interesting that large Asian women haven’t seemed to have had the same growth in popularity.
In terms of men’s desirability, there are some generalizations that tend to be more desirable such as tall height, long full hair, narrow waist, and sharp jawlines. So, a tall, long haired white American with sharp jawline and narrow waist still holds quite a high value, regardless of age. Overt signs of wealth or influence tend to raise the value of any of the above human male types - things such as expensive designer items, expensive cars, wallets, watches, jewelry and other ‘flash’ signals.
Global culture and cross-cultural communication have eliminated much of what used to be possible in terms of human arbitrage pairing - meaning that someone who falls on the low side of one spectrum has a more difficult time connecting with someone who sits on the other side of the spectrum, regardless of geographical disparity. This is relatively new in terms of human coupling dynamics. For example, there was a high arbitrage opportunity for average white men for quite a long time if they could leave their home area. That arbitrage opportunity has largely disappeared.
Currently there is a high arbitrage opportunity for Asian, Latin American, and African American men who demonstrate desirable traits (see above) with white women and with Asian women from higher income brackets and with the most desirable physical traits.
To some extent, white men are being pushed to couple within white communities though there still seems to be some arbitrage opportunities in Latin, African, and the lowest income Asian countries but those opportunities are disappearing rapidly, like watching a map pull from urban areas to the most rural. There also seems to be a growing interest in African American women in pursuing white men of all types - which is probably a result of current highest values tending to be African American men and Asian women.
If anyone has been left out of this completely dehumanizing and almost definitely offensive commentary, please don’t hesitate to let me know. I personally tend to think that beauty is often a reflection of the soul within, but the problem is that if that were actually the case, I would certainly be on the cover of some magazines - and so far, that hasn’t happened very often.
