I hope that you’ve enjoyed not being pinged by me in the Vagobond Magazine Discord this week. It’s hard not to do everything I can to share things I feel are important to our community as they happen - but I’m happy to not be contributing to the noise of Web3 in our server.
First of all - our Alpha Channel in the server is filled with profitable moves. None of this is financial advice and of course do your own research but if you followed all the calls in there this week (like I did) you came out ahead and if things keep going as they are, you will probably have more gains moving forward.
The biggest news of the week is that Vagobond Magazine now has a website at https://www.vagobondmagazine.com
What does this mean for Vagobond.com? Well - time will tell. I’m in the process of moving our hosting to a new server. I think Vagobond will end up being our trademark and brand site - although I’d like to keep some of the old school travel and tourism articles there. One of the big issues has been that since this site has been operating since 2008, the database has gotten large and cumbersome - it has also developed some issues in terms of SEO and link building.
We also had to postpone our AMA on the Linkedin Platform until tomorrow. I hope you can join us.
I have been doing a lot of thinking about the current market struggles and what Vagobond Magazine and VAgobond should be doing moving forward. I think the logical thing is to focus on more education and onboarding in the Web3 and NFT space. I created a couple of informational twitter threads this week that take us a little in that direction and of course Rionna Morgan’s work on this deserves a special shoutout. We are so lucky to have her as our Senior Editor and an important part of this community.
The Web3 Writer’s Hour is also a big part of that. Here is a recording of last week’s Web3 Writing Hour show .
Also - if you just can’t get enough of me on spaces or shows….here I am on The Page Dao Show ( cohosting with Rionna & Dylan) and with cohosting with our friends the Peaceful Groupies on Trippy Tuesday.
These are three very different shows but all of them touch on topics that are important to those of us in Web3 and other creative communities. Things like mental health, tools of the trade, and how to make an impact and connect with people.
I want to hear from you guys though - please reach out. Let us know how we are doing and what you would like for the Vagobond Community to become. We’re open to growing and changing with you. My twitter DMs are open @vagobond - hope to hear from you soon. ~CD
Great things happening all around! Congratulations on all the bold moves! I feel very lucky to be a member of the Vagobond Community too!
