I can only be happy that there are still people out there who are not afraid to say how they feel or what they beleive, even if it flies in the face of popular sentiment or sanctioned government thought. I support John Stein and his views 100% without agreeing with them. Personally, my belief at this point is that we need to put everything we can into creating a functional and safe society in Iraq.. I think we have taken on a commitment and need to make it our number one priority, even if it means making do with less in the USA or other sacrifice. I don't think total military action is the key. I think we need to create jobs programs, institutions of learning, to build mosques and encourage participation, to create a healthcare system that provides for EVERY Iraqi's needs, regardless of political or military affiliattion...Sure, I'm a dreamer...but I also support a re-liberalization of the press her in the USA. And a commitment to our own people as strong as the one we need to make in Iraq.
